I didn't start here.
There's a particular kind of exhaustion that rest doesn't fix. I know it because I lived it.
Not visibly — I was functioning, showing up, checking boxes. But something underneath had gone quiet. The kind of quiet that tells you something important has been ignored for too long.
That feeling sent me searching. Not for a new strategy or a better routine — for something I can only describe as a return.
I traveled to India, to the Amazonian part of Colombia, through Southeast Asia and across Europe — not as tourism, but as a kind of investigation into what it actually means to be well. I studied neuroscience and sat in breathwork sessions. I looked at nutrition as deeply as I looked at trauma. I learned NLP and I learned how to be still.
And slowly, something buried under years of performance and accumulated stress began to come back.
What came back was simpler than anything I'd studied. It was just me — clearer, more grounded, more alive. Closer to what I now think of as my original nature. In Arabic, we have a word for this: فطرة (fitra). The self that existed before the world taught you who to be.
That's what I help people find their way back to.
